
FTVG is pleased to announce four projects which have been awarded funding for the 2022/23 initiative.
The projects include:
- Improving Rural Liveability and Accessibility Toolkit by Ciara Szyman, Piotr Mazur, Natalie Gravett and Annika Davies (Arup/Markides Associates)
- Enabling Youth Engagement for Transport Schemes by Gemma Bridge and Bernard Fanning (University of Leeds/The Nichols Group)
- Rural Mobility Toolkit – Engaging the Community by Eleanor Hodges, Carla Strimbei, Abby Harris, Agnese Polonara and Katie Lamb (WSP/Systra)
- New Junction Design – XT Junction by Omar M, Dragos Suciu, Elena Soboleva and Gautam Godavarthi (MDS/Mott MacDonald)
Each team now begins an 8-month project development phase, with support from the FTVG Organising Committee and Steering Group to deliver their research and report back on their findings. The eventual winner of the competition will be announced in Summer 2023.
